The teardrop shape of a bank sinker allows it to anchor securely on the sandy or muddy bottoms, preventing it from rolling or being swept away by currents or waves and remains in the desired fishing zone. The smooth tear drop shape allows the sinker to roll which keeps snags to a minimum and allows the weight to drop straight with little resistance.

Egg sinkers are rounded weights with a hole running through the center, resembling an egg (hence the name) . This design allows the line to pass through easily, enabling the sinker to slide along the fishing line. The key benefit of an egg sinker is that it allows bait to move naturally in the water, improving the chances of attracting fish without them feeling resistance from the weight. The oval-shaped weights are perfect for various fishing techniques, particularly when bottom fishing or targeting species that swim close to the marine floor.

The pyramid shape of this sinker allows it to anchor securely on the sandy or muddy bottoms. It burrows itself into the sand to withstand movement and the flat sides resist rolling around the ocean floor. Ideal for beach fishing because the pyramid shape allows it to cast very far.

Extremely useful choice for deep-sea anglers targeting bottom-dwelling fish useful in catching bottom species, delivering the necessary weight to ensure your bait reaches the depths where rock cod and similar species thrive. This sinker helps to decrease water resistance, getting your bait down quickly and effectively. The unique square shape of the rock cod sinker, a rounded end, allows them to sink fast, but stay steady when on the boat.
Shop Rock Cod SinkersIn the production of our lead fishing sinkers
we use the very best raw materials and components available. Though
the lead used in our fishing sinkers is derived from industrial scrap we
strive to keep our percentage of pure lead in our finished lead fishing
sinkers to as close to 100% as possible.
We are very careful when purchasing our raw
lead scrap and I personally inspect each and every lot that comes into our
manufacturing facility. We do not accept low quality lead
mixtures that could adversely affect the final quality of our sinkers. Lower percentage lead can make the
sinkers harder and less durable. Our technique produces a more durable lead fishing sinker and therefore
allows you to catch more fish.
